Mirinda “Rinny” Carfrae found herself on the podium after Saturday’s Ironman World Championships in Kona. The 2010 Ironman World Champion finished the 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run in 9:22:45, despite what she considered a sub-par swim followed by a bike leg where she lost much of her nutrition and experienced cramping. Rinny has proven to be one of the best female triathletes in the world with her podium finishes in Kona for three years in a row!
